Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DecisionMaker.Email ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DecisionMaker.Email is a platform that helps you find executive-level email addresses for businesses. The Service includes a web application and a Chrome Extension that allows you to search for executive emails directly from any website you visit. Both the web app and extension share the same account, credits, and search functionality.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose including spamming or harassment
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk emails
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute email data obtained through the Service
  • Bypass credit limits or abuse the free tier

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology of DecisionMaker.Email are the property of DecisionMaker.Email. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

6. Payments, Credits & Billing

6.1 Credit System

DecisionMaker.Email operates on a credit-based system. Each search consumes one credit. Credits are only consumed when a search returns at least one confirmed email address. If a search returns no results or fails due to a system error, the credit is automatically refunded to your team balance.

6.2 Plans & Credit Allocations

DecisionMaker.Email offers three plans: Free (15 credits/month, no credit card required), Basic ($12/month, 100 credits), and Pro ($29/month, 300 credits). Credits are shared across all team members and do not roll over between billing cycles. Each billing renewal resets your credit balance to your plan's full monthly allocation.

6.3 Upgrades

When you upgrade from one paid plan to a higher plan (e.g., Basic to Pro), you are charged the full price of the new plan immediately and your billing cycle restarts from the upgrade date. Your credit balance resets to the new plan's full monthly allocation. Any remaining credits from the previous plan are forfeited upon upgrade, as the new billing cycle provides a fresh allocation for the full billing period.

6.4 Downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You retain access to your current plan and credit balance until the end of the cycle you have already paid for. At the next renewal, your plan switches to the lower tier and your credits reset to that plan's allocation.

6.5 Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your current plan and credits until the end of your paid billing period. After that period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan with 15 monthly credits. Remaining paid-plan credits are forfeited at the end of the paid period.

6.6 Free Plan Credits

Free plan credits reset to 15 on the 1st of each month. Free credits do not accumulate or roll over.

6.7 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Dodo Payments. You agree to provide accurate billing information. For Indian payment methods (cards and UPI), RBI regulations require a pre-debit notification period of approximately 48 hours for recurring charges. During this window, your plan and credit changes will activate once your bank confirms the payment. For all other payment methods, transactions are processed within seconds.

6.8 Refunds

Subscription fees and purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If a refund is issued, all credits associated with the refunded payment are revoked immediately and your account may be downgraded to the Free plan.

7. No Guarantee of Results or Accuracy

Results are provided on a best-effort basis. DecisionMaker.Email does not guarantee that:

  • A search will return any results for a given domain or executive role
  • Returned email addresses are accurate, current, or belong to the intended individual
  • Email addresses marked as confirmed will remain valid over time or will not bounce
  • The executive role, name, or title associated with a result is correct or up to date

You acknowledge that email addresses and personnel change frequently and that results may contain inaccuracies. You use all results at your own risk and discretion.

8. Your Responsibilities & Compliance

You are solely responsible for how you use email addresses obtained through the Service. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, CASL, and other anti-spam and data protection laws
  • Laws governing unsolicited commercial communications in your jurisdiction
  • Any applicable industry-specific regulations regarding outreach and data use

DecisionMaker.Email is a research tool. We do not endorse or encourage unsolicited bulk emailing, spamming, or any form of harassment. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the data provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

In no event shall DecisionMaker.Email, its owners, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to DecisionMaker.Email in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DecisionMaker.Email, its owners, affiliates, and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your use of email addresses or data obtained through the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
